Am I Perfect Melancholy?
Those days is the personality season, I am reading <Personality plus> and also shepherding is about personality. Umm…I believe that God is trying to let me know more about myself and understand others as well.
Note: there are 4 types of personality: Popular Sanguine, Perfect Melancholy, Powerful Choleric and Peaceful Phlegmatic
Most of people agree I am the 80% popular Sanguine plus some powerful Cholieric, because I am always happy and speak & laugh loudly. Umm..praise God for this change in my life. I can not remember when I started to keep this postive habit in my life. And I believe that God poured so much love and happiness in my life, because He knows I need more than that!
At this time, everyone around me knows my name is Sunny who is a person always has the smile on the face, bubbly around, seems nothing in the world will bring the sadness to her. While, I can testify how my life becomes happier and happier after I accepted Christ even my personality nature is 35% Perfect Melancholy.
I was born to a family who expects I could be a boy, unfortunately, I am a girl. I lived a life under many pressure & expectations and also my own high stardard. I got depressed and hurt very easily, I was so senstive to other people’s words that I did not have many friends around especially the male friends. Insecurity and low-esteem were the best decription for my past.
My life went up and down always, my living places were always changed because of my dad’s workplace; which made my personality so unstable. Praise God for giving me the lovely name-Sunny; I believe that He wants me to shine for His kingdom even I did not know Him before I got the name. When I compare my past life with current life, ONLY thing I can say is “THANK YOU, LORD”. I am so loved by You that I was saved by You and living a happy life before You. Thank you that You gave me a baby face and soft voice, even I hated them and could not accept them before. Thank You for giving me the Perfect Melancholy personality, which made me ceasely seek my purpose in the world and finally I found You; thank You for giving me the Powerful Choleric personality that makes me be goal-oriented for Your Kingdom alone; thank You for giving me Popular Sanguine personality to bring joy to Your people…
God makes me whole and reveals my strengthes and weaknesses. No matter what kind of personality I am, I am a child of Him and want to be more like Him. Thanks Daddy (my heavenly Father)…I love You so much and thank You for making me in this way.
